Great Scotland Yard Hotel, London, is a five-star luxury boutique hotel where history, romance and exceptional hospitality come together. ❤️

For a romantic stay in Westminster, our experience in the magnificent Sherlock Suite was truly unforgettable.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay @gsy_london part of the @unboundxhyatt Collection by Hyatt, perfectly positioned in the heart of Westminster.

Just moments from London’s iconic landmarks, this historic luxury hotel offers a surprisingly peaceful escape from the capital’s bustling streets.

Inside, we immediately appreciated the warm lighting, elegant furnishings, and intimate atmosphere. The hotel’s fascinating police and detective heritage shows throughout, with historic memorabilia, crime-inspired artwork, and distinctive decorative touches creating a truly individual boutique hotel experience.

The highlight was undoubtedly the Sherlock Suite. Inspired by Sherlock Holmes and a Victorian detective’s study, it combines rich wood panelling, beautiful period details and contemporary luxury. The separate living area was wonderfully comfortable, while the magnificent four-poster king-size bed and luxurious bathroom with its deep soaking bath made our romantic London getaway feel especially indulgent.

Hospitality was equally impressive. Every team member was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel also offers exceptional dining and drinking experiences, including @ekstedtldn , 40 Elephants cocktail bar, Síbín whisky speakeasy and The Parlour for afternoon tea.

This luxury hotel in central London is particularly suited to couples celebrating anniversaries, romantic weekends or special occasions. Its location is ideal for exploring Westminster, Trafalgar Square, and Covent Garden before retreating to a beautifully peaceful spot.

Our verdict? An absolutely faultless five-star stay. The Sherlock Suite was outstanding, the surroundings captivating and the hospitality exceptional. We’d return without hesitation.

Happiest birthday to my husband, my love, my home, and my forever person. ❤️🥹🧿

This birthday is extra special because it’s the first one I get to celebrate as your wife. 🥹❤️ There’s something so beautiful about knowing that the person I love the most is now the person I get to call my forever.

Thank you for coming into my life and filling it with a happiness I never knew could exist. You’ve made my world brighter, my heart fuller, and my life so much more beautiful just by being in it. If I could ask the universe for one thing over and over again, it would always be you, in every lifetime. ❤️✨

Being your wife is one of the most beautiful feelings in the world, and this is just the beginning of all the birthdays, dreams, and beautiful memories we get to share together. I can’t wait to celebrate a lifetime of them with you. 🧿❤️

You are my answered prayer, my safest place, my favourite person, and the love I want to grow old with♾️❤️🫶🏻

I love you endlessly, my love. ❤️
