Lets turn that frown upside down

I guess lots of us got bit by the grayscale clown disease this halloween season 😋 no hate, i love any type of clown.

Posting this today because like this clown i am feeling a lack of color, feeling quite down and sad.
I feel like grayscale clowns are the product of a clown being sad and all their color drains from them while they are down. Once they feel joy again tho the color comes flooding back and they are back to their colorful rainbow self!

But yeah my brain is whacky rn and in a rough place. You know its bad when you catch yourself staring into nothing for long periods of time 🫠 usually my brain is going a million miles per sec with thoughts but right now its kind of empty and its all just the sensation of sadness its weird.

Self care is important in these moments even tho it feels exhausting. I was proud of myself for talking my dog for a walk to enjoy the fall leaves while listening to music. Making sure remembering to eat so my brain can function. I reworked my schedule so i could manage more desk work aspects of my job today instead of very physical things

Its easy for me to beat myself up when i feel like im not being productive, but that bullying myself only makes me feel worse so i really try to be nice to myself instead. I am being productive in taking steps to take care of myself, taking steps to further prevent my burn out IS productive. Its weird when it feels like not being productive is a moral failing in my brain.

Anyways like this clown im sure ill be blooming with color again soon❤️ just gotta be kind to myself first
