I think the boys asked me once a week when I was going to have a baby in my tummy, over the last year or two, especially with so many of our closest friends having babies in that time. over the year of trying we would answer (sometimes while biting back tears) that we were praying and couldn’t wait to give them another brother or a sister.

i know a lot of people like to wait to tell their littles that they are expecting especially when not telling many people, which i totally understand but i couldn’t wait to tell them that their prayers had been answered and wanted them to be the first to know, they held that secret so well until they could share with their friends 🥹🤍

i can’t wait for another little yates baby to love
