“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
As I stand at the forefront of achievements and a fresh start. I want to express my gratitude to THEE ILLUSTRIOUS Harris-Stowe State University for shaping me into the woman I am today. I have learned resilience, compassion, strength and integrity during my time at this institution. These past three and a half years have been the most challenging but best years of my life. From being a DOUBLE sport student-athlete and captain, honor student, to a member of multiple organizations of campus and serving the community, while maintaining multiple jobs and myself…WHEW! Transferring here was very hard , moving to a bigger city , unsure of what all came with it & iykyk! My mental is stronger than ever! There have been numerous occasions when I’ve wanted to give up and quit, but GOD was by my side every step of the way & guided me through!
To my Grandmother & Great Grandmother 🕊️: I find it unfair that you both had to miss such huge accomplishments from my high school degree to now my college degree. You both played a huge role in who I am today! I did this for you BOTH & I love you and miss you dearly!🙏🏾
To my family & friends: Thank you for always encouraging me and being a big support. It’s times I didn’t quite understand and might seem as if I am ungrateful for all that you all do but I love you all for the support, encouragement and patience you all had with me.❤️🔥
With a joyful heart, I am proud to announce that I will be graduating from THEE Harris-Stowe State University on December 7th , 2024 @ 10:00am with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and a background in Marketing.🐝🤎💛
