Thousands of people joined the INDIA bloc’s march towards the Supreme Court in New Delhi on October 12, following Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s call to protest alleged “vote chori” and file a petition against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The march, titled “Chalo Delhi – March for Democracy”, saw opposition leaders, including Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, travel towards the Supreme Court from the Connaught Place–Barakhamba Road junction. Gandhi had urged opposition parties, party workers, young people and civil society groups to join the demonstration, describing it as a fight to protect the Constitution and the country’s electoral system. The INDIA bloc plans to challenge alleged electoral irregularities and raise concerns over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Opposition parties have alleged that the voter-list revision process and other election-related decisions undermine democratic representation. The Election Commission has defended its decisions, maintaining that its orders follow established legal procedures. Before the march, Gandhi said the opposition would approach the Supreme Court and file a petition against the CEC over the allegations. He also urged Gyanesh Kumar to resign and become an approver, alleging that larger forces were behind the irregularities. These remain opposition allegations, not established judicial findings. The march came after Chief Justice of India Surya Kant declined the INDIA bloc leaders’ request for a meeting. Gandhi said the Chief Justice had directed them to pursue legal remedies by filing a petition. The opposition has framed the campaign as a broader fight to safeguard the Constitution, demand accountability in the electoral system and address concerns over voter-list revisions. The petition marks its attempt to take the dispute over alleged “vote chori” to the country’s highest court.
Bruh how does one wrap their head around this 😩 winning the Olympia is craaazzzyyy man. I’m still here tryna let it hit me that I really did that. Ten years in this game and to finally reach the top blows my mind. It’s not that I didn’t believe in myself it’s just you never know! This is a sport of subjectivity and working in such a precise way to bring your body in on point that you just gotta rely on the work you put in and pray it all comes together on point. I’m just happy man. The stars aligned, every detail tended to and we brought that winning package and I’m proud. Ima be real with ya, starting this journey I didn’t know I’d come this far. Not that I didn’t see it for myself but like I didn’t know anything about this sport when I first hit the stage in 2017. I came in bright eyed and ready to do what needed to be done to get right with myself. I came into this journey seeking a sense of healing and empowerment. To prove to myself that I can do something that challenged me in ways I had never been challenged before. To grow as a woman, to learn about my body and mind. And along the way I found the passion and desire to take it all the way. I wasn’t someone who lived and breathed this sport before I started or even in the beginning. I grew a deep love for it along the way. The process of improving and learning what it means to become a champion. I’m so grateful for all it’s taught and brought me in these last ten years and look forward to what I’ll do going forward. 🥹🫶🏽 . . 🎥 @profitnessphotos 🏋🏽‍♀️ @ccash15_ifbbpro 👙 @toxicangelzbikinis JAZZYFRESH 💎 @all_that_glitters_gems JAZZYFRESH ☀️ @protan_official JAZZY 💄 : @lebou_beauty @mariahbartistry 💇🏽‍♀️ : @crownedstudiolv . . #olympia #bikiniolympia #mrolympia
