Ananya Panday ❤️‍🔥

Ananya Panday (born October 30, 1998) is an Indian actress working in Hindi films and streaming series. The daughter of actor Chunky Panday and costume designer Bhavana Pandey, she has evolved from a mainstream commercial newcomer into one of Bollywood’s prominent Gen-Z performers across both theatrical releases and digital platforms.

Career Evolution & Streaming Acclaim

After establishing an early box-office presence with romantic comedies like Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) and Dream Girl 2 (2023), Panday pivoted toward contemporary, character-driven narratives on streaming platforms:

Dramatic Pivot: She gained recognition for playing conflicted urban characters in Shakun Batra’s domestic noir Gehraiyaan (2022) and the coming-of-age drama Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023), where her portrayal of a heartbreak-stricken social media manager resonated strongly with younger audiences.

Digital Headliner: In 2024, she led Vikramaditya Motwane’s cyber-thriller CTRL and the Prime Video comedy-drama series Call Me Bae, winning the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actor (Comedy Series) for the latter.

She is also set to return in Call Me Bae Season 2 alongside new cast addition Shruti Haasan.

Advocacy & Off-Screen Presence

Beyond acting, Panday launched So Positive in 2019, a social responsibility initiative aimed at raising awareness about social media bullying and building support frameworks for young users facing online harassment—a project recognized as Initiative of the Year at the Economic Times Awards. She also lent her voice to the character Riley Andersen in the Hindi dub of Pixar’s Inside Out 2 (2024).

Theatrical Projects (2025–2026) In bullets
