Officials with CDS Monarch and area elected officials cut the ribbon on the $16 million State Street Apartments, which includes 46 units in the former Market Basket warehouse on East State Street. Thursday's ceremony capped off five years of effort by the nonprofit to revitalize the structure. The project provides housing for residents earning up to 50% of the Area Median Income, and 14 units were set aside for supportive housing — seven one-bedroom and seven two-bedroom units.
