So so sooooo much to be grateful for this year!!! I truly give all thanks to God… I am in awe of how He has blessed me and continues to bless me. I thank my family and friends in VA and NY for being my village…my community… my pillars of support. Thank you for holding me down!!! I am so thankful to all the experiences and places I’ve been. I am so thankful to 2024. I have grown so much… ‘lil Keola is so proud!!! I cannot wait for what God has in store for me in 2025. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! 🙏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽

I had a woman in the cage in her underwear as a dramatization of ICE detention and trafficking. I was shouting political slogans like were rounding up them illegals make America Greay Again” this is what we voted for “ Trump is offering a reward to turn people in” I was asking people if they were US citizens and what hospitals they were born at. I poured fake blood on the girl inside the cage. A crowd of people gathered to watch and the girl shouted statistical facts about girls getting pregnant while in ice detention. I stopped at two open locations for no more than 3 minutes where pedestrian movement wouldn’t be obstructed & videos show no pedestrian movement had been restricted. I shouted “I’m a proud boy but I hope to become an ice agent soon” Once it was apparent police officers were following me I stoped to talk to them. I engaged with Officer Chan (an Asian officer) asking him am I doing anything wrong & he asked me if I had ID on me, I answered “I only have to give you ID if your detaining me” “you have to keep walking. You can’t stop here.” I informed him that “if you guys give me a hard time it’s only going to amplify my political message” and I continued walking. Then as I turned left to walk back through time square Chan told me I can’t walk that way. I informed him that unless I’m suspected of committing a crime he can impede my freedom of movement through public space.” I asked him am I doing anything wrong and he didn’t respond. Soon 3 more police offered joined the slow persuit following me but not engaging with me or talking to me. Further down I asked the police again am I doing anything wrong or illegal and the police didn’t answer. At no point did any of the officers tell me my actions were illegal or to stop doing them.

Women in India pay a pink tax just to reach college safely. World Bank economist Girija Borker studied how students in Delhi choose their colleges, weighing quality against the safety of the daily commute. A woman student is willing to settle for a college about 8 ranks lower for a route that feels meaningfully safer. A man trades away less than 1 rank for the same. Women are also willing to spend roughly Rs 18,800 more per year than men for that safer route, and travel up to 40 minutes longer every day. With subsidised Delhi University fees, that extra spend is nearly double the average annual tuition. She pays more to reach college safely than to study there. A lower-ranked college means weaker peer networks, fewer specialised skills and lower placement salaries, depressing earnings for decades. The cheapest lever may be boringly simple: safe buses, lit streets, reliable transport and a police system that protects women. Tamil Nadu has done so much better.
