About 10 years ago, @themorningsea went into the studio at Analogue Muse and filmed an intimate live recording of our song, “Three Cheers for New Years”, originally released on New Year’s Day in 2014. It’s a reminder of the endless, Sisyphean struggle of trying to live up to expectations, both your own and others’, and offering yourself grace and forgiveness when you fall short. People are imperfect, and we f**k things up, and that’s how we learn and get better. Once we come to accept this very human truth, the simpler it becomes to embrace our flaws and understand the beauty of imperfection. Wishing you a year full of f**k-ups and grace. Xx
