What a Halloween. I made the best jack o’lantern ever, mixing a bit of horror features for the first time. @lia.pocol and the kids had so much fun bringing these to life, and then an evening walking through a Halloween-lit forest…just absolutely sweet. We finished the night with some trick-or-treating and The Conjuring.

She makes everything awesome. She makes me feel loved. And because Halloween is still new to her and the kids, it’s extra special. It’s always fresh. I just wish my babies could have been a part of today. It’s tough. Being surrounded by this little group of amazing people who love me, but always hoping my two cubs could be a part of it all. Ever hopeful.

Happy Halloween, everyone.

I’ve been keeping a secret. It’s not a bad secret, or even much of a secret anymore to those closest to me, but I’ve kept it off the socials because I had to. It’s the kind that begs to be shouted from the rooftops because it’s the kind that fills you up with too much happiness; too much hope for what’s to come.

I met someone—an incredible person. A caring one, not just to me but to everyone who has given her a chance to show them what love truly looks like. It’s the kind that shows you that you were never truly loved by another, or that they were all doing it wrong. She’s an excellent mom, a loyal friend, and the best partner a guy can ever ask for.

She came along during the darkest time of my life and held my hand the whole way. She was unwavering, knowing how much pain and sorrow I was going through. She showed me it was okay to laugh again and to not feel guilty about feeling happy. She listens and doesn’t judge. She respects and corrects when she needs to. She’s beautiful inside and out. She’s funny and brilliant. Just a pure soul navigating through life’s ups and downs, and she’s taken me along for the ride. What a ride it’s been!

I love you, Lia. There’s so much more to say, but this is just an intro.

So proud of how well these tracks came out. If you’re not following @biomech_band yet, get on it and give their new singles “Rise” and “Torch the Sky” a hundred listens and an equal amount of shares.

What a day to be alive! I got to see the Jets face off against the Denver Broncos in a bit of a nail biter match up. My Jets didn’t take the win, but that didn’t stop us from having a great day out. Thanks to the guys at @gotoconnect for making it happen. #londongames #nfl #jets by @tlaudiom_m

None of this feels real. I lost a sister this week; a beautiful soul with the best smile you’ve ever seen. The world is truly dimmer for it.

It comes in waves, this pain. This swelling inside. I’ll find some comfort in a story about her, or from the laughter of my niece and nephew. Then I’m reminded that you’re gone forever and I’m taken back under.

I’m thankful that I got to experience the level of love, grace, and poise that Anabelle brought to the table. She stayed young, often making light of anything serious. She was the one that kept us grounded, and right now I’m lost.

I’ve never lost someone this close to me, and I don’t know what to do. It shouldn’t have been like this. I miss you, Cacatua. I love you. by @tlaudiom_m

I’ve not been the best on Insta for a hot minute but I’m working on that. February saw one of my favorite people come out to the UK for a visit that involved some much needed sightseeing of the country. Loads of old churches and cemeteries. Local music. Beer and Scotch. Felt honored that @goldtape chose to spend his 45th birthday with me. An ocean apart is never an excuse to not make the effort. Love you, my dude. Thanks for bringing me some of that NYC. I needed that. #scotland #edinburgh #wales #wrexham @turfwxm #deadpool by @tlaudiom_m

It’s crazy how it’s been 10 years since @themorningsea did this at Analogue Muse, the studio where we recorded Mal De Mer. I’ve got so many good memories from this time with the guys. I was going through my own heartbreak, and this song was a form of therapy for me. I hope it does the same for anyone listening this New Year. Love you, @strange_captive Thanks for sharing and reminding me that we created something beautiful. #themorningsea #gothamamerica #happynewyear by @tlaudiom_m

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing @shanandtheclams recently, my favorite indie rock band for the last 5 years. I got to chat with both their drummer Nate and @shannonshaw about how I discovered them during production for Welcome To Our Village by the mighty @advofsalvador. I was looking for inspiration for the record as it was the first record of its kind that I had worked on and in doing so, stumbled upon @hardlyartrecords and their roster. I walked away with Shannon and the Clams as a band I’ve loved since. Shannon was gracious, as was Nate. Their record “The Onion” has played a major role in shaping my approach to garage psych rock, so many thanks to them for that.

The set was so good. Kudos to @mockmediaband for opening the show on a high note. Great band as well that I’d like to get involved with. Shannon, Cody, Nate and Will took the stage with a seasoned presence and commenced to deliver classic after classic. The set was so tight and the sound was incredible, so top of the hat to the people at The pink room.

If you haven’t checked them out yet, you’re sorely missing out on an excellent band. New record is tops and I’m a big fan of “Oh So close, Yet So Far” and “The Moon Is In The Wrong Place”.

Find them on a Spotify and YouTube. Vinyl available for music gormandizers.
