Day 1 of a 4-day bike trip on one of Canada’s longest bike paths. Comment “Day 1” for the GPX file 🚴🏻📍

Le P’tit Train du Nord is an old railway line through the Laurentians, now a dedicated cycle path stretching over 200km. We rode the whole thing there and back over four days, more than 400km, and timed it for the fall colours. Day one runs close to 100km from Saint-Jérôme to Mont-Tremblant, starting on compact gravel before turning to pavement, with old train stations converted into cafes to stop and refuel along the way. We got caught in a bit of rain, dried off at 83 Nord, and rolled into Tremblant with the mountain coming into view.

Day 2 takes us north toward Mont-Laurier. Follow along for the rest of the trip.

Za malu Crnu Goru bio je to veliki i glamurozan trenutak – njeno ime našlo se u kolekcijama zaljubljenika u šminku, na beauty portalima i društvenim mrežama širom svijeta. Iza proizvoda „Montenegro“ stajala je djevojka koja je iz Plava otišla u Ameriku sa samo devet godina, ne sluteći da će jednoga dana njene fotografije, savjete i proizvode pratiti milioni ljudi.

Javnost danas vidi savršeno stilizovana izdanja, luksuz, svjetske kampanje i proizvode sa njenim imenom, ali je put do toga počeo daleko od privilegija. Bila je dio porodice koja je morala da se prilagodi novoj zemlji i izgradi život od početka. Kasnije je i sama morala da uči, radi i stvara sopstvene prilike u industriji u kojoj joj niko nije garantovao uspjeh.

Danas Amru Olević-Reyes na Instagramu prati oko 4,9 miliona ljudi. Na svom profilu predstavlja se kao osnivačica brenda „Amrezy“, dok je njeno ime odavno postalo sinonim za besprijekoran, odvažan i prepoznatljivo glamurozan stil. Međutim, iza raskošnih izdanja, luksuznih pakovanja i milionske publike nalazi se priča o imigrantskoj porodici koja je u Americi počela veoma skromno.
