Piñata Pete & his piñatas at Panadería La Central on Dec. 22, 2024.

Wrote a bit about piñatamaking in the Valley and spoke to Pedro Ochoa Jr. He only started this year, but he has plans to visit Acolman de Nezahualcóyotl, a town in the state of Mexico that claims to be where the tradition of posadas and, by extension, piñata making originated. You can find that story at the link in my bio.

Also... happy new year! Hope everyone had a lovely holiday, here's to more photos published in 2025 <3
