I went back to the West LA shelter with @joannakrupa to meet more dogs and learn about the challenges rescues and volunteers face in getting dogs fostered and adopted.

On the way in, I met this beautiful dog, Gabriel. @Real Good Rescue stepped up with a foster to get him out of the shelter, but he still needs a forever home and help with his medical (check @realgoodrescue page).

These amazing rescuers taught me about the gift of fostering and just how important it is, especially with so many dogs in California’s overcrowded shelters.

By fostering, you can give a dog a safe, loving place to heal while they wait to be adopted. You’re also helping rescues make room to save more dogs.

You may not be able to commit to adoption, but opening your home temporarily can give a wonderful dog another chance at life.

Please consider fostering or adopting. Visit my website (link in bio) and click ‘Clear The Shelters’ to learn how you can help.
