Well, we did it! After much discussion, we finally bought a Jeep! Greg has wanted a jeep for years. He has earned it! Today we took her out on a ride with Yuma Jeep Club. She handled like a charm.

Oh, September, I asked to leave behind what didn’t serve me…and you took me literally with emergency surgery.

And despite it all, I’m thankful.

So, so thankful.

Shall we begin in reverse order of this rollercoaster of a month?

1. After two visits to the ER in three days, surgery was scheduled. Not on our Bingo card.
2. Refusing to let my health damper our love, we celebrated our anniversary at home with sushi.
3. The flu took me down for four days, but devoured amazing books.
4. God, and goodness.
5. Went to Guadalajara, Mexico for stem cells.
6. Sometimes dinner at your parents’ house is all you need.
7. First day of school.
8. Our happy place.
9. That Bonnie and Clyde type love.
10. The single best thing to happen to our lives. Ever.

If I had to use one word to describe the month, it’d be: HEALING.

Unexpected healing.

Okay that was two words. I blame the pain killers 😉

What’s a word you’d use?
