🪷 I can’t believe I’m almost not pregnant anymore…

I never imagined pregnancy to be such a gift, it really is a miracle and to do it in love with support is extremely healing.

When I was younger pregnancy was something that needed to be avoided at all times, it was scary and there was constant fear around it.

All I can say is that I always knew I wanted to start a family and be a mother, and when my teenage friends would ask at what age I’d want to get pregnant I always responded and imagined at 27. (Which I am! Hehe)

I thought that that would be the perfect time because those first 10 years of maidenhood would be crucial to my development and they absolutely were.

Now I am being initiated into motherhood in the most beautiful of ways, and just like there’s always been fear around pregnancy and I’ve been able to rewrite that. I know that I am also rewriting the fear around birth and motherhood and marriage. 💖
