From grand-scale period dramas and action spectacles to romantic blockbusters and pan-Indian franchises, some actor-director collaborations have created a lasting impact on Indian cinema. Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prabhas and S. S. Rajamouli, and Allu Arjun and Sukumar are among the duos whose collaborations have delivered memorable box-office successes.

The list also celebrates Nayanthara and Atlee’s Raja Rani, Bigil and Jawan; Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal and Singham franchises; Salman Khan and Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan; and Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. From Sukumar’s Pushpa films with Allu Arjun to Rajamouli’s Baahubali saga with Prabhas, these partnerships demonstrate how a strong creative collaboration can shape a film’s identity and connect with audiences across industries.

So beautiful and special to see so many people here brought together by faith, hope and love. I think we often come to sacred places asking what we can receive, but maybe we should also think about what we can bring back into the world. Prayed for Ukraine, for peace, and for all of us to do our part in making this world a little kinder, safer and more loving. Leaving with a very full heart 🕊️

My tiny prem miracle twins leaving primary school for seniors! How?! 😥🥺 so many of you followed me because of them back at the very start. Which is crazy because they are 10 now and really starting to feel grown up.😩 also makes me feel very old because I swear school for me doesn’t even feel that long ago. 🤣

Hamara toh gaya. Gang leaders aap apna dekh lo 🫡
