I was invited to church by one of my friends at work so I went. It felt right.

People always ask how I traveled to all 50 states in one year. My first answer? You have to be willing to go alone.
If I waited for someone to be available for every trip, I’d still be waiting. So I booked the flights, took the solo trips, and did it scared sometimes but knowing that God’s got me.

You don’t have to feel fearless to get started. You honestly build confidence as you go🤍

I loved presenting at the 2nd Jewish Media Awards and can’t wait to return to Lincoln Center on November 5th for the 3rd Jewish Media Awards. It is a night of great inspiration and Jewish pride. We can fight antisemitism in TV and film with better Jewish representation and @JITCHollywoodBureau is leading that charge in the entertainment industry!

Tickets are on sale now at

Crime used to be so out of control in Caracas, Venezuela’s capital, that Miguel Dao, a professional kidnapping negotiator, was hired to secure the freedom of three different captives in a single day.

But it’s been three years since Dao has had a single kidnapping to negotiate.

The homicide rate in the city has plummeted in recent years, and kidnappings, both extended high-ransom cases and “express” abductions lasting about a day, have all but disappeared.

Different factors — some the stuff of nightmares — drove Caracas’s security gains. Read the full story, which is available in English and Spanish, on the city’s sharp decline of crime and the atrocities committed to get there at the link in our bio. Photos by @adriana.loureiro
