For this self-portrait photo series, I wanted to explore the idea of the flesh versus the soul. The darkness of the world reflected onto us and the inner battle we face. We have the "wings" to fly away but choose to stay in place. The glowing light is to show that even in darkness, there will always be light and a way out.
