Son of an English teacher that used to cover art class. Had seen tools and art supplies at a young age, shown vanguard artists.

Being a sport oriented middle schooler did not follow art as a career or hobbies, but did sketch car designs and liked museums and saw art as a respected career in society.

I have contact with art students as a freshman in college by 1991. And in the next few years out of my part time as a light technician I will go forward to do small music events.

With painters among those musicians who will open my views on many facets of being an artist.

In that scene I will have contact with many musical points of views and the arts related to those.

I will become part of the scene as a small producer. Saw art styles working resort & conventions areas in this period.

At my arrival in Florida in 2013 I will go on to substitute teach part time and will go forward to substitute art class. There I will have contact again with art supplies and will paint acrylics in the abstract forms.

At the pandemic shut down in 2019 I went to the art store and decided to get my own supplies and started painting all the styles that I felt were the ones that moved me.

Being the abstract form the one I enjoy the most.

After showing my art to some friends I started to get more compliments.

That was the key to move me towards pacing a way to become a real artist that produced works people would like and be interested to own.

I was accepted to the students exposition at my first art class. @crealdeschool June 2024.

Submitted works to @pancakesandbooze art show Orlando edition and have done the show in 2024 and 2025.

At the 2025 show I sold my first art work for $50. "I FEEL YOU" a duplet of yellow colored pastel flowers framed inside glass and gold frame.

I've always ♥️ed the idea to study arts in Italy.

Introducing standing room mag Issue 02, with our cover star @grentperez

There is a particular discomfort in growing up: the realisation that the person you are becoming might not have much in common with the person you once were. The things that came naturally begin to require consideration; the freedom of being young gives way to the awareness of how you are perceived. Somewhere between the two, it becomes difficult to tell whether you have outgrown an earlier version of yourself or simply learned to keep it in check.

For Grent Perez, that tension has taken on a name. goose, his forthcoming EP, places Grent in conversation with Goose, a younger, more playful alter ego who appears to have little interest in the responsibilities of being an adult. Where Grent is measured by the person he has become, Goose offers a return to the instincts, impulses and irreverence that can get lost along the way. The two are not necessarily at odds because one is right and the other wrong. Rather, their conflict raises a more interesting question: what happens when growing up starts to feel like growing away from yourself?

It is an idea that gives goose a life beyond the familiar exercise of an artist reflecting on personal growth. The relationship between Grent and Goose creates room to examine the competing versions of ourselves that coexist, often uneasily, beneath a single name. There is the person we present to the world, the person we believe we ought to be, and the one who still wants to do things simply because they feel good. Maturity might mean learning to live with those differences, rather than deciding which version deserves to survive.

In 2025, ski mountaineer @jimwmorrison made history as the first person to climb and ski down Mount Everest’s North Face via the so-called Super Direct route. It was an accomplishment he’d initially hoped to achieve with his partner, ski mountaineer and National Geographic Explorer Hilaree Nelson.

Joined by his friend, award-winning filmmaker and National Geographic Explorer @jimmychin, the historic ski has been turned into a documentary, directed by Chin and @chaivasarhelyi. Ahead of the film’s premiere, Nat Geo spoke to Morrison about how he turned a lifetime of tragedy into triumph.

Mount Everest has been skied a few times before, usually via the South Col route, which is also the way most mountaineers climb the mountain. But until last year, no one had successfully descended the north face’s Super Direct, which drops 9,000 steep and icy feet from the summit to the Rongbuk Glacier below.

Menebar Kepedulian, Menumbuhkan Harapan

Bersama mengabdi, bersama membangun generasi!
