Google Turned Nearly 4,000 Emojis Into 3D Models, and One Detail Stole the Show!

Google’s new Noto 3D emoji project raised an unexpected question: What does an emoji look like from behind? For the shocked face, Google jokingly revealed a pair of butt cheeks with the caption, “Just kidding! But IMAGINE!” 🍑

The rollout also uncovered another surprise: the poodle emoji has apparently been missing a leg all along! We’ve been using emojis for years without ever wondering what their backs look like. Now we can’t unsee it.

Does the 3D version improve the design, or should Google leave emojis flat? 😂🍑
