As I was preparing to travel here, I didn’t quite know what to expect. I was excited, nervous, and anxious to go, and wanted to go into it with an open mind. This place changed my perspective of the world. God works in incredible ways, and this country stands as testimony to that. So often we forget that we don’t live in our own little world. We go about our day and live our life as if we’re the only people in it.
Having the opportunity to experience a completely different culture with completely different people showed me the beauty in trying new things and showed me that no matter where you come from or who you are, great people and incredible blessings flow all around.
Egypt is something I’ll never forget, and would recommend to anyone considering it. It will completely turn your narratives upside down and encourage you to appreciate the small things that we take for granted every day. God showed His blessings to me throughout this entire trip through the incredible people, history, and places we visited.
