I swear I'm a good girl… sometimes 😅

In 2008, I was 33 years old. I had no career and was living in Dumbo with our 5-year-old son. As a creative, I was home alone a lot. Filled with love, but also feeling isolated and without direction.

I began using what I had around me to create, to express. And that was HOME. I would cook a meal, craft a table, labor over the flowers, the lighting, the music. Hyper-focused on every element, every detail, to set the scene.

I had no idea what I was doing or where it would lead. I only knew that creating an all-encompassing sensorial world around the table felt so right. But more than anything, it gave me a sense of purpose and connection, while unearthing a passion I didn’t know existed.

I could never have imagined that this instinct for world-building would become a career that fulfills me every day. Or that I would one day travel the world, designing within some of the most iconic and architecturally significant spaces. I only knew what fueled me, and I put one foot in front of the other.

I am beyond proud of this work in Vienna in an apartment designed by Adolf Loos, but perhaps even more proud of the journey that brought me here.

I share this because I am proof that you can find yourself, your passion, and even your career later in life. You don’t always need to know where you’re going. Sometimes you just need to follow what makes you feel alive, even when you have absolutely no idea where it might lead.

"Selfish" MV out now!

Hope this MV answers some questions you had from prt.1 ("I Need To Know" MV). Would love to hear how you guys interpret the full story. I really suggest watching beginning to end for this one.
Honestly going over this video hit hard and really took me back to where my head was writing all the songs in this project (To Whom It May Concern Vol.1). All the songs derive from a common line of inspiration. I hope to share that story one day but for now enjoy and interpret to your hearts desire. Again grateful to be back and share if the song/video meant something to you💙

To whom it may concern,
