Last week I was invited to my old school to give a speech to the sixth form students.

Life is crazy because when I was at school I felt completely hopeless. I had flopped all my A Levels (got E’s and U’s) and just felt like a failure that wasn’t gonna achieve shit. Never in a million years did I think I’d make something of myself, let alone be invited back to deliver a presentation on my success.

It was such a privilege and a truly full circle moment to walk around the old school halls that I used to roam with my shoulders drooped, head full of anxiety and angry at the world. I even saw some teachers that once doubted me. Alhamdulillah
