Guess who is 11 today!
Happy 11th Birthday to Louis, our much loved English Pointer!
It’s hard to believe it’s been 11 years since Louis came into our lives ( thank you, English Pointer Rescue ). From the moment we brought him home, he’s been so much more than just a pet—he’s part of the family and I firmly believe he thinks he is human.
Louis was Libby and Tom’s “first born,” but honestly, he belongs to everyone. It really does take a village to raise him, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s happiest running wild in the vineyard, pointing at birds and rabbits, and charming everyone he meets with those soulful eyes and his handsome face.
That said, thunderstorms are not his thing (summer can be tough for him), but luckily, Louis has plenty of people to help him through the rough patches. He’s such a big-hearted, special boy who’s brought us so much love, laughter, and adventure over the years.
Today, we’re raising a glass to Louis, the original pointer behind Pointer Pinot Noir and Pointer Chardonnay, and simply the best hound dog we could have ever hoped for. A huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of his journey and loves him as much as we do.
Here’s to Louis—cheers to many more laps around the sun! ❤️🐾🍷
