El Camaro amarillo que todos conocen como Bumblebee no existía cuando Michael Bay decidió que seria el personaje — GM lo tuvo que construir desde cero solo para la película.

🎬 Bay visitó las instalaciones secretas de General Motors — su famoso “skunkworks”, el lugar donde desarrollan prototipos que el público nunca ve — y vio un concept car que todavía no tenía nombre ni modelo definido. En ese momento Bay dijo: “Ese es Bumblebee.” GM fabricó el prototipo del Camaro 2008 especialmente para la película, construido sobre un chasis de Pontiac GTO y pintado en amarillo sunrise — un auto que en ese momento no existía en ningún concesionario del mundo.

😳 Y hay un dato que casi nadie sabe: la personalidad, los movimientos y los gestos de Bumblebee no fueron inventados desde cero — Michael Bay confirmó que todas las maneras del personaje están basadas en Marty McFly de Back to the Future. El auto más icónico de la historia del cine de robots fue un prototipo que GM construyó en secreto… y su personalidad es de Michael J. Fox. 🔥
