I’m so happy to say last night I was promoted to First Soloist after my debut of Prince Desiree in @javiertorresfnb The Sleeping Beauty.

In so many ways this is such a dream come true, I remember being a young kid falling in love with ballet through watching the Royal Ballet perform sleeping beauty in my local movie theatre in Asheville, NC with my sister. Seeing this really opened up my world and put the picture in my head that I wanted to go to London - few years down the line I ended up being accepted into the school were I studied for 3 years and got to see performances of Sleeping Beauty and soooooo many more fantastic productions - seeing each dancers nuances and artistic decisions was such an important and inspiring experience that i’m very lucky to have witnessed.

Now even a few more years down the line i’m dancing with my beautiful company in Finland and to get the opportunity to dance this ballet is truly a full circle - to my coaches Ingrid and Eun ji, I am so indepted to your guidance and help, and I can’t wait to continue working on this role for the next shows. To Hye Ji it is an honor to get to work with you again and I enjoy dancing with you immensely! To Javier I appreciate your support always ! To my family, thank you for always sacrificing everything for me and supporting me through thick and thin! To my dear friends I love you all and I appreciate your dear support! And to Violetta your support is everything - I love you so so so so so much!
