V-taper is the visual contrast between broad shoulders and a relatively narrow waist. It’s one of the key proportions that creates an athletic-looking physique. Want to know if you have a V-taper? Measure your shoulder and waist circumference. Then divide your shoulder measurement by your waist measurement to get your ratio. The higher the ratio, the more pronounced your V-taper generally appears. A strong V-taper comes from developing your delts, lats, upper back, and keeping your waist proportionate. It’s not just about being bigger—it’s about building balanced proportions. Knowing your shoulder-to-waist ratio gives you a simple way to track your physique over time. Remember, these ratio categories are practical physique benchmarks, not official scientific classifications. Measure consistently, train intelligently, and build the proportions that make your physique look athletic. Day 1 of Navratri. Maa Shailaputri — daughter of the mountains, the embodiment of strength and grace that needs no announcement. Orange felt like the only right answer today. Leheriya in orange and pink, Rani pink blouse, minimal contrast jewellery, and a lip that did the rest. Sometimes the saree dresses you. #Navratri2026 #navratriorange #MaaShailaputri #LeheriyaSaree #sareeoftheday Navratri orange, leheriya saree, Maa Shailaputri, festive saree look, Rani pink blouse
