The air felt like a 90’s/early 2000’s Halloween!

This felt aggressive to post right after Halloween, but as promised: Perfect Boxed Brownies, Part 4: PRALINE BROWNIES 😍🤤 (also do we keep this series going into the holidays?!)

Confession: I don’t like pralines. But when you balance that sugary sweetness with a fudgey brownie?! I am IN!!

We got this one up on the blog so you can find it on Naptimekitchen.com or COMMENT BROWNIE and I’ll send it your way!!

Thank u, Jesus for every step You have allowed me to take.

One of Bollywood's catchiest disco songs arguably had even greater success in a completely different country.

This is the story of how the song 'Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Aaja' from the soundtrack to the 1982 Bollywood film Disco Dancer (produced by prolific bollywood music producer Bhappi Lahiri) became an unmitigated success in the Soviet Union.

It has even been suggested that the song became so integral to Soviet society, a common hit even at weddings, that the song could be used by Soviets as a test of potential foreign spies, to see if someone truly grew up in the USSR. Whether this was truly done or is simply an urban legend, it's amazing how popular an indian movie's climactic dance song became in an entitely different country, language and culture.

A special shout out to my friends at the @therevolverclub for finding me this copy of the soundtrack on vinyl! Be sure to listen out for it in my upcoming sets 🤙

Brexton’s racing on Halloween, so we squeezed in a little trick-or-treating at M&M’s World! 🍫🎃 We even made custom M&M’s with Dad’s face and little love notes, because no matter where racing takes us, Dad is always in our hearts. 🤍
