NEW STORY: Sara Yara’s mom says her daughter only spent half a day at the hospital before officially being pronounced dead. We tried to get answers. One health insurance expert told us it is likely Sara’s insurance believes a third party is responsible for the bill (in this case the driver behind the wheel) so that is why her health insurance didn’t cover any of it. In a statement to HNN, Sara’s health insurance said: Due to member privacy considerations, HMSA cannot comment on the specific case presented. Generally, if an HMSA member receives emergency medical treatment following an accident and subsequently passes away, covered medical care would be processed according to the terms of their health plan. #hawaii #healthcare #bills
One month since I quit Taekwon-Do. I thought I’d be itching to train by now. Honestly, I’m still tired. I stepped away because the environment had stopped feeling safe for me, mentally and physically. I was burnt out, and I needed space to work out what my relationship with Taekwon-Do and the Taekwon-Do community could look like again. I’ve slept a lot. The stress and ostracism is still there, and I haven’t found the energy or desire to return to my own training yet. After nearly 30 years, that feels strange. But alongside that, I’ve enjoyed having spare time again. Reading, being creative, exploring ideas and spending time with people without always being the person organising everything. And I’ve realised how much my WMA community has my back. When you’re used to being the coach and supporting everyone else, receiving that support yourself means a great deal. I’m still struggling with some of it. I’m also enjoying parts of life I hadn’t made enough room for. There’s no return date to announce. For now, I’m grateful for that room—and for the people helping me feel more like myself.

“Not every beautiful moment needs to be perfect or social-media worthy. ❤️ A little laughter, Papa measuring my biceps, Momma coughing in the background, and our messy room — these are the real moments that make life special. We may not capture these moments for the world, but they become priceless memories for our family. Love your parents, laugh with them, and cherish these little moments while you can. Because this is what life is truly about. ❤️🧿” #reels #trending #reels #fit #reels
