TNHT Staff: @hausofaaron __________________ Neighbors, according to reports, multiple Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers have been recommended for termination or resigned after a racist text thread came to light. __________________ Sources say the messages included a competition over who could pull over the most Black drivers, along with repeated use of the word “n****” in discussions about using force and discharging firearms at Black residents. __________________ The messages were discovered during a probe into officer Seth Elliott, who is facing a criminal charge related to the alleged misuse of the Flock Safety network. __________________ In a statement, CMPD said: “We will not tolerate any behavior that contradicts our core values or jeopardizes the trust we have built with the community we serve.” __________________ The identities of all the officers haven’t been made public, and there’s no word on when a decision will be made regarding their possible termination. @wbtv_news @hodgesreporting
I will surely be burned at the stake for this one. Read a 2026 study that said liberal women report instances of sexual assault 2.25 times, or 125%, more than conservative women. Should go without saying, but clearly we’ve got different understandings of what classifies as SA. Stay safe out there friends. 🫡
