In May 2025, 22-year-old former missionary Krew Zaugg met a 15-year-old girl. The victim’s family explained that she had recently lost her grandfather and was vulnerable, looking for a friend. Even though she explicitly told Zaugg her age before they met in person, he picked her up and sexually assaulted her inside his locked Tesla. In court, Zaugg tearfully told the judge that on the night of the crime, he had just broken up with his girlfriend and was desperately seeking comfort. He stated: "I was feeling sad, lonely and miserable. Instead of dealing with those things in a mature and responsible way, I made an impulsive decision." While released on bail awaiting trial, Zaugg reconciled with that same girlfriend and married her. Zaugg was originally charged with rape of a victim under 16 and lewd conduct with a child. Under a plea agreement, prosecutors amended the charge to felony battery with intent to commit a serious felony, dismissing the lewd conduct charge. District Judge Michael Whyte placed Zaugg on a one-year "rider" program (retained jurisdiction) in a correctional facility. While he carries an underlying sentence of 4 to 18 years, successfully completing the treatment program within that year gives the judge the option to place him on probation instead of sending him to state prison for the full term. He was also ordered to register as a sex offender and maintain no contact with the victim for 14 years.

TOTAL VICTORY! Super NINJA Season 5 ▫️I don’t really have much to say… took me 8 years to get this done and with all ups and downs I had no thoughts about quitting. We don’t quit. We don’t compare ourselves with others. Everyone has their own journey and it is wonderful that we can share it. Either we go side by side or completely opposite directions - I’m happy we are together and still moving. Much love! ❀️ β–ͺ️Thank you everyone for your kind works and support! P. S. It will take a second to reply all of the messages - but I will. #superninja #ctc #ninja @tv_ctc @vadim_timonov @prokudinninja @stankokorin @lera_protivpravil @dima_maslen @vasily.artemyev and more πŸ’ͺ❀️
Jaylen Brown (@fchwpo) may have moved on from the Boston Celtics, but there's one thing he's not ready to leave behind: his Boston apartment. After spending nearly a decade in the city, the NBA star has developed a special attachment to the 4,000-square-foot home he dreamed up with interior designer Linda Zarifi of @lindazarifidesign. β€œThere’s been other places, but this oneβ€”I created it, it was crafted by my vision,” Brown tells AD. β€œThis one felt the most like home.” That vision includes an outstanding use of free will: Italian marble bathroom floors, a medical hyperbaric chamber, a custom suede pool table, a see-through wine cellar, and an 18th-century harp that comes with its own professional harpist. Step inside Brown's one-of-a-kind Boston apartment at the link in bio. Photography @jaredkuziaphoto; Interior Styling @chiaroscuroeuvre, @seanwilliam_styling; Words @rembert
