Board-certified anesthesiologist Dr. Tiffany Moon has worked for nearly 15 years at a level one trauma hospital she calls “the knife and gun show.” In her words, “Not every anesthetic is the same, because every patient is different.” That difference goes beyond your dose. She says the risk of complications under anesthesia depends on both the individual and the surgery itself.
