I am extremely happy to announce that yesterday was the day that I gave up my life for our savior, Jesus Christ.

Over the past few weeks, I've come to the realization that the Lord is the only way. Last weekend my youth group had a skiing event and I had never been skiing before. However, I felt protected and safe. After skiing, we went back to the hotel and had Bible study, we were instructed to find at least one verse that shows Jesus's words and something that he claims to be. This verse has stuck with me, every single night as I'm lying in bed on my own. John 15:5 says "I am the vine, ye are thy branches." This stuck out to me because we are the branches that come from a rooted tree, which is our foundation, the Lord. Jesus is the vines because he wraps us in the good from the word of the gospel. This shows that we are called to be his servants and show others the value of the gift of Salvation.

I had not gone to church much growing up, and it's completely my fault. I had never showed true interest in it as I do now. Whenever @avamcginnis.07 and I got together, it gave me a new start at life with the Lord. I had joined a new church and felt out of place. Everyone in my youth group had been saved and baptized, and I wanted in, however I wasn't ready. Isaiah 60:22 says "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen." There is a reason I wasn't able to say that I had been saved that day. I was doing it for an image, to be like those around me. Admitting that Jesus Christ is my savior is not for the sake of being praised from others or doing it for someone else. My biggest realization last night was the fact that I AM UNDERSERVING OF HIS LOVE AND HIS SALVATION, but that is the beautiful part. He deserves me to be His vessel and spread His word/ Salvation to others.

I am blessed to say the least. For confirmation, I am explaining this to yall not for satisfaction or attention, I want everyone to know they have a special promise given to them from the Lord. Just remember, JESUS IS KING. Don't be scared, but be free, I love all of yall as Jesus would. Thank you Jesus.
