I spent most of my twenties trying to create an undeniable stack of proof for why I should believe in myself. To be able to say with conviction, I am every bit the person I say myself to be. My confidence comes from doing and I love to get shit done. There’s something thrilling about doing exactly what you say you’re gunna do. I believe the Greeks referred to it as Thumos. Thumos was central to manliness (andreia) and often associated with vitality, courage, and honor. It was seen as the “seat of life” and an independent energy source in humans.

These days, after accomplishing what I used to doubt I could, I’m continually feeling more and more driven towards the things that call me. I wish the same to whoever actually reads this.
