✨10 things that keep me lean and strong at 59 post menopause. 🤪Stupidly simple. Here’s what I do every single day. Creatine every morning. Holds onto the muscle and brain sharpness menopause tries to take. Protein first at every meal. Non-negotiable. Always. Same meals on repeat. Boring works. Consistent beats perfect every single time. I’m very been doing this for YEARS! Loaded Water. Every bodily function requires it. Everything. I put every thing I can into my water. Amino’s, electrolytes, vitamins whatever! Use your water girls. 7-10 K steps. The magic isn’t in the number. It’s in the movement. - 25-30 grams fiber daily. Your body is not meant to hold onto waste. This one even I have to work so I’ve added a daily fiber supplement like @sakaralife fiber. ✨Magnesium glycinate before bed. Every single night. Non-negotiable. Devices off by 9pm. Asleep by 10….wake up at 3 🤣 iykyk ✨Walk outside unplugged every day or just spend time alone in the morning to set up for my day. Stress management is not optional at this stage. It is everything. Lift heavy 4 days a week. This is non-negotiable. Full stop. Then add my yoga & Pilates. Cardio! But girl! Not like the old days of a million hours! 2 Hard, like step mill at the gym & 3 walking on an incline or outside. Swear it works! The next 3 months are not about shrinking. They are about building. Winter bodies are built now. Spring just reveals them. 🔥 ⭐️Comment: Get strong and I’ll send you a free trial of my on-demand platform — real strength training built specifically for women over 50. Not modified. Not scaled down. Built for us. 💪 #womenover50 #fitover50 #corexchristine #postmenopause #strengthtrainingwomen

A day on 8 with Ming-Na Wen … I spent a day walking around the East Village with my mom over the summer. She lived in the neighborhood in her 20s, at the beginning of her acting career. This is part of a little pet project I’ve been working on called In Their Frame, which explores artists’ perspectives on both the professional and the personal in a setting that is meaningful to them. Hopefully, I’ll get to do more interviews like this soon.
