just a few things that are important to me and just might explain why I am the way I am.

I love fashion, but won’t dress like everyone else. In fact, give me a rule and I’ll break it.

For me home is everything and it needs to be my escape. I truly believe that living your best life is not a science so I do everything in moderation (cake, and bourbon included.)

But most importantly, I always Remember that life is precious so I live it out loud, belly laughs and all!

GHOST OFFICE: Miami Rep. Fabian Basabe was not expecting me to break news at this candidate forum — and he admits to using taxpayer money to PAY HIMSELF $2,700 per month on a 2-year $64,000 lease for a “District Office” OUTSIDE THE DISTRICT with NO STAFF that he uses for personal storage, and isn’t even listed on his Florida House website. #BecauseMiami

Basabe is the notorious Republican state lawmaker accused of sexual misconduct by at least five men. In July, he was found liable by a civil jury and ordered to pay $450,000 for sexually harassing and battering his male former legislative aide and intern. At a hearing during that trial, another man testified under oath in open court that Basabe drugged and raped him in 2003.
