Thanks for everything grandpa

Somewhere in the sports betting company’s marketing department, there’s a guy who deserves a promotion, a company car, and possibly his own statue. He convinced Sydney Sweeney to do a revealing advertisement, sat back in his chair, and watched thousands of angry people voluntarily distribute it across the entire internet. “This is completely unacceptable!” Reposts the commercial. “I cannot believe she would do this!” Sends it to 14 friends. Brother, you’re not organizing a boycott. You’re running an unpaid advertising agency. It’s like protesting a restaurant by standing outside handing everyone free menus. The marketing team didn’t even have to lift a finger. They just invented the world’s first advertising campaign where the people who hate your product work harder than the people you’re paying to promote it.

Tesla’s new Roadster just took the supercar conversation into the air. Elon Musk unveiled the redesigned electric sports car at a SpaceX facility in Texas, showcasing thruster-assisted airborne manoeuvres that looked straight out of a sci-fi movie.

The demonstration showed brief aerial movement rather than sustained flight like a conventional aircraft, but it offered a dramatic glimpse of Tesla’s ambitions for the Roadster. With extraordinary acceleration claims and production targeted for 2028, there is still plenty to prove before this vision reaches customers.

Would you get behind the wheel of a thruster-powered Tesla?

I swear NYC does something to our souls that I can’t even explain. 🥹🗽❤️

We’ve spent a lot of time in the city for work over the last month, and every trip makes us fall a little more in love with it. But I think the biggest thing for me has been seeing just how good it’s been for Kay. With everything she’s been through with her health, watching her wake up every morning excited to get outside, walk around for hours, explore, and actually have the energy to enjoy it all has meant more to me than I can explain. I haven’t seen her this happy and motivated in a long time, and I know being there has helped her just as much mentally as it has physically.

And the girls absolutely THRIVE there. 🥹 I’ve never seen Ellie make so many little friends in one afternoon. We’d take them to the playgrounds and she’d immediately run off to play like she’d known these kids forever. She’s asked to go back to the “New York City park” almost every day since we’ve been home. 😂❤️ Watching both girls spend their days outside, making friends, exploring, and just being kids has been one of my favorite parts of these trips.

I don’t think we realize how much our environment affects us sometimes. Living in Dallas, where it’s 90+ degrees for so much of the year, makes it hard to enjoy being outside. There are so many days when it’s just too hot to take the girls to the park or even go for a walk. And I really think that starts to affect you mentally after a while. Being in NYC reminded us how good it feels to just get outside and LIVE.

But it’s more than just the weather or the parks. There’s something about New York that brings out better versions of both of us. Not different people, just happier, more motivated, more inspired versions of ourselves. We actually want to get up early, go do things, meet people, explore, and make the most of every day. It’s hard to explain, but we both feel it every time we’re there.

We’ve traveled to some incredible places, but nowhere has ever made us feel quite like NYC does. And seeing how happy Kay and the girls are there makes me love it even more.

We’re already counting down the days until we get back. ❤️
