😂😂😂😂 Jailer is a 2023 Tamil action-comedy crime film starring Rajinikanth as “Tiger” Muthuvel Pandian. It was written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film was released on 10 August 2023. 📖 Story Muthuvel Pandian is a retired jailer living peacefully with his family. His son ACP Arjun is investigating an idol-smuggling operation led by the dangerous gangster Varman. When Arjun suddenly disappears and is believed to be dead, Muthuvel decides to take matters into his own hands. His peaceful family-man personality slowly gives way to his old, ruthless “Tiger” persona. He then uses his old connections with powerful criminals to take on Varman and protect his family. ⭐ Main Cast * Rajinikanth – Muthuvel Pandian / Tiger * Vinayakan – Varman * Ramya Krishnan – Vijaya * Vasanth Ravi – ACP Arjun * Yogi Babu – Vimal * Tamannaah Bhatia – Kamannah * Mohanlal – Mathew * Shiva Rajkumar – Narasimha * Jackie Shroff – Kamdev 🔥 Why it became a huge hit The film was particularly praised by fans for Rajinikanth’s screen presence, Nelson’s dark comedy, Anirudh’s background score, and the mass elevation scenes. The song “Hukum” became one of the biggest highlights of the film. 🎬 Jailer 2 The story continues with Jailer 2, again directed by Nelson and starring Rajinikanth. The sequel is officially scheduled for 15 October 2026, with a much larger ensemble cast.
