Some places do more than take you away from your routine; they bring you closer to yourself. 🤍

Chamonix gave me more than breathtaking views, and @vieretreats gave me more than an experience. It gave me beautiful connections, meaningful moments, a sense of peace, and memories I’ll carry with me long after leaving.

Grateful for the place, the people, the energy, and everything this experience has awakened in me

Ehkä tasa-arvoa ei ookkaan se, että vastuu jaetaan tasan, fifty-fifty. Vaan se, että molemmat saa vuorollaan tavoitella omia unelmiaan? 💘 Mitä ajatuksia tää herättää? 🧐

Picking up heavy things… 😂

Getting some work in with IFBB Pro @maikciesla & @astrongspirit at @steveweinberger.bevsgym. Maik is massive—and a great guy!

Five sets of five, working on getting my strength back while dealing with a biceps tear. This machine feels easier on my biceps than a traditional deadlift. @tkstarcom

Always a good time at the East Coast Mecca.

When our Constitution came into force in 1950, it said the State can’t discriminate against any citizen because of their caste. Over the years we also created categories like SC, ST and OBC, so communities that were kept out of schools, jobs and power for centuries could finally get a fair share.
But a law can only change what the State does. It can’t change who people are willing to marry or let into their kitchens. Those rules are still made inside families and villages, and they are far older than any law.

What keeps them alive is that caste isn’t just one group pressing down on another. It’s a long ladder where almost every group stands above someone. Even people who face discrimination are often raised to look down on the caste below them, so very few want the ladder gone completely. Ambedkar called this graded inequality.

So when someone says caste is a thing of the past, they usually mean it’s no longer a problem for them. For the people at the bottom of that ladder, it still decides where they can live and how they are spoken to every day.
