John Swinney has taken aim at those who think Scotland "should be just like Manchester" as he vowed Scotland would soon be an independent nation.⁣ ⁣ In a closing speech at the SNP conference that did not mention Prime Minister Andy Burnham by name, Swinney issued a veiled retort to the former Greater Manchester mayor after he visited Scotland.⁣ ⁣ The first minister, speaking in Aberdeen, also announced that the country's bus network would be brought under public control by the end of the parliamentary term in 2031.⁣ ⁣ Swinney made further pledges to extend a £2 bus fare cap to the north east of Scotland, launch an independence campaign, fund anti-racism initiatives and tackle misogyny in schools.⁣ ⁣ Tap the link in our bio to read more.⁣ ⁣ #BBCScotlandNews #BBCNews #SNP #Swinney
We liked the Beehive State so much that we’re sticking around! Next stop is Salt Lake to see the Utes put the nation’s longest win streak on the line in a top-20 showdown with Houston 🙌
Evening viewing recommendation? On the Criterion Channel, watch ROAD GAMES (1981) in our Highway Horror collection! Director Richard Franklin packs plenty of Hitchcockian twists and suspense into this sly shocker—starring Stacy Keach, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Marion Edward—that ranks among the most surprising thrillers of the '80s.
If your hips feel stiff, try this quick hip mobility routine. Move slowly, breathe deeply, and focus on making each rep smooth and controlled. Save it and come back to it whenever your hips need a little extra attention. #flexibility #stretching #mobility #fitnessjourney #hipmobility
