Comment OCTOBER and I’ll send you all the links.

Between birthday dinner, a surprise sunset sail Bobby arranged, and a few fitting-room visits, my camera roll has quite a bit to explain. The organza plaid skirt collected at least twenty compliments between the car and the restaurant. The navy matching set filled my DMs. And I left the fur vest behind, which I’ve been reconsidering ever since. Apparently, turning 48 hasn’t made me any better at “just looking.”

There are some familiar favorites in these fall outfits, too: the red Mary Janes I’ve worn for two years, the denim button-down I love with green pants, and the Rich Mom pants in the navy bandana print you asked for. I also found a look for much less that reminds me of what I wore during NYC Fashion Week. Naturally, I took photos for all of us.

Send this to your shopping friend. There’s a good chance we’ll all be thinking about the same vest.

We bought the extended warranty and the first time the transmission broke they replaced it within warranty, now it is broken a second time at 60k miles which seems crazy to me, so now we have to replace transmission again, but they are saying it is out of warranty. Hoping someone at @nissanusa could look into my case, I would think a car would last longer than 60k miles but I could be wrong. All services have always done on time, has anyone run into this issue? This is a Nissan Rouge 🆘 help, advice? Are we screwed? This is the car my mom drives and she is always very careful with taking care of the car

I spent 13+ years in corporate - some jobs I loved, others were completely soul draining. But here’s how to exit in a SMART way. 1. Squeeze everything you can out of that job. Leave nothing on the table.
Tuition reimbursement, certifications, conferences, therapy coverage, retirement matching, even access to people you couldn’t otherwise meet. Use your PTO and book the healthcare appointments . Let the job help fund and prepare you for whatever comes next. 2. Choose High ROI work
prioritize projects that build a marketable skill, give you measurable results or introduce you to people outside your immediate team. Keep a running record of your accomplishments with numbers attached (I call this a brag book) 3. Your FU fund
Calculate your essential monthly expenses, including what you’ll need to replace after leaving, like health insurance. Multiply that by the number of months you want covered. 4. BOOK your calendar. Book “focus time” to mentally unwind during the day. Book a standing dinner every Thursday with friends or take those classes after work. Don’t let work take up ALL your time, and have something to look forward to. 5. ✨my controversial take✨ - you may need to be an average employee for a little. I know my little overachiever… but hear me out. if you’re in a toxic work environment you may become obsessed with working just “a little bit harder” to finally get the validation you deserve. It’s not coming. Instead, use that time for side hustles, applying to other jobs or focusing on your health. Do your job, do it to the best of your ability and leave it RIGHT THERE.

Imagine what we’d wear if men didn’t exist… 💅🏻

In the meantime, could they stop assuming we dress for them and let us just exist in our bodies? xoxo
