What started as a class project turned into the first redesign of the tampon in 80 years.

We’re so proud of what we created and we cannot wait for you to try Sequel tampons 💙

The packaging is giving protein energy workout product, if hadn't read the box I would have immediately skipped the ad

This product concept is brilliant, and the redesign itself is incredibly appealing. That said, I don’t think “FDA cleared” should automatically end the conversation around safety or materials. FDA clearance means a product has met specific regulatory requirements, but it doesn’t mean a product is completely risk-free or that consumers shouldn’t continue asking questions about long-term exposure and material choices. With all of the research and innovation that clearly went into developing Sequel, I would genuinely love to understand why cleaner, more naturally derived materials weren’t prioritized as part of the design. So many women are actively trying to reduce unnecessary exposure to synthetic materials and questionable ingredients in the products they use every day and especially products used internally. The spiral design is such a smart idea. Pairing that innovation with materials that appeal to women seeking simpler, cleaner options would make the product even more compelling to me

Studies on toxic shock list viscose rayon as one of the major culprits. I’m confused with all the research you did making these why you would choose to use fully synthetic materials instead of organic cotton……

Did you do anything about the chemicals or less bleach or just focus on the spiral?
