Saturween is what happens when one of the oldest holidays on the calendar lands on the best night of the week. October 31 falls on a Saturday this year, and the lore behind it stretches back more than two thousand years. The Celts marked Samhain at the end of summer, a threshold between the harvest and the dark half of the year when people believed the veil between worlds grew thin. Communities lit bonfires, left out food, and wore disguises so wandering spirits would not recognize them. Those firelit rituals are the seed of every costume, pumpkin, and late night party we see today. A Saturday simply gives the old tradition a bigger stage.

Over the centuries, the festival kept changing shape. The church later placed All Saints’ Day on November 1, which turned the night before into All Hallows’ Eve, a name that slowly softened into Halloween. Immigrants carried those customs across the Atlantic, where they blended with local harvest traditions, and the holiday grew into the costume and candy tradition families know now. Jack-o’-lanterns started as carved turnips in Ireland before American pumpkins took over. Every layer added something new while keeping the same thrill of stepping into the unknown for one night.

That is why a Saturday Halloween feels so special. There is no early alarm, no rushing home, only a full evening to wander streets, haunted houses, and costume parties. The holiday has always been about gathering around something a little eerie and finding comfort in each other. It lingers in the glow of porch lights, the crunch of leaves, and the sound of a doorbell ringing one more time. Saturween stands as a reminder that old stories still make the best excuse for a night out. Some holidays fade with the calendar, and this one simply keeps coming back.

Republican leadership versus Democratic leadership,,, with data to back it up.

Ini la risiko tunggang motor. Kita dah bawa betul, muncul pula anasir lain buat hal.

Lepas tu mula la geng motor ngan geng keter bergaduh sape salah sape betul.

The best is kita guna dua-dua, keter bawak, motor pun bawak. Baru la kita faham dan boleh baca situasi sebenar kat jalan raya.

Betul tak?

Lagi bagus kalau boleh bawak lori, bas, kren, sky lift, ketapi, katebang, kapal selam. Auto jadi level otai 👍🏻
