It’s been a looong time since I’ve been on IG or posted but I’m back and want to share the amazing news that BANF @houstonbanf has recognized me as a 2025 Artist Awardee.

This transformational investment in me – and all the awardees, creates new opportunities to define our future and build together toward the thriving BIPOC culture Houston deserves.

I’m feeling very grateful for this opportunity and excited for the next 18 months of getting to know these amazing folx - sharing, learning (and unlearning), relating, creating so much together as a cohort.

Let’s weave that thread through each of our beautiful stories, artistries, and communities and build power in intercultural creativity and solidarity. We are many. We are a mosaic of joy, power, resilience, wisdom, and beauty. Even through the pain and the ugly - they can never take our Spirit.
