What to do 🏘 The Galveston Historic District, blocks of cute shops, historical buildings and boutiques 🚗 Carriage Haus Rentals @carriagehausrentals, golf carts dressed up like antique cars, and the most fun way to cruise the historic district and the seawall 🏛 The 1895 Moody Mansion @1895moodymansion, a 28,000 square foot home where the self guided tour takes you through 20 rooms of island history 🏰 The 1892 Bishop’s Palace, Galveston’s grandest Victorian, which sheltered hundreds of islanders during the 1900 storm 🎡 The Historic Pleasure Pier @ghpleasurepier, an amusement park built out over the Gulf 👻 The Haunted Harbor Tour with @hauntedharbortours, a whole different side of the island and its history after dark 🏄 Galveston Island State Park @galvestonislandstatepark, where you can hike the trails, paddleboard like we did, and spot some wildlife along the way What to eat 🦐 Katie’s Seafood House @katiesseafoodhouse for fresh Gulf seafood and waterfront dining 🥤 Star Drug Store, the oldest drug store in Texas, go for lunch and be sure to try the famous milkshakes 🍳 Sugar & Rye @sugarandrye_galveston for breakfast or lunch, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu 🎣 Jimmy’s on the Pier @jimmys_on_the_pier, where lunch comes with Gulf views in every direction, then stroll the pier or cast a line before you leave ☕ Seawall Coffee Company @seawallcoffeecompany for coffee, a fresh baked scone, and a case full of baked goods Where to stay 🏨 The San Luis Resort @thesanluisresort, our waterfront balcony room was the best way to start every day, the outdoor pool area is incredible, and the resort has everything you need just minutes from the rest of the island.
