Less than 24 hours after closing out the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, Taylor Swift is back at Arrowhead Stadium cheering on her husband as the Chiefs host the Chargers. On Saturday night, Taylor capped Hollywood’s star-studded fundraiser with a four-song set, introduced by Conan O’Brien. It was her first full-band performance since the Eras Tour, and it included the first-ever live performance of “The Fate of Ophelia,” along with “Blank Space,” “Love Story” and “I Knew It, I Knew You,” her song from Toy Story 5, which is eligible for Best Original Song at the Oscars. By Sunday afternoon she had traded the gown for Chiefs red, with Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and longtime friend Este Haim joining her in the suite. Caitlin has watched with Taylor before, at the January 2025 playoff win over Houston and at last October’s Sunday Night Football game against Detroit. The Chiefs came in 4-0 and fresh off their bye, facing a winless Chargers team. Travis rolled his right ankle on the opening drive, got it taped on the sideline, and was back on the field for the very next series.

There’s a beach on Crete where you can walk across the sea. 🩷 It’s called Elafonisi, and there’s this beautiful shallow lagoon separating the beach from a little island covered in sand dunes. I waded across with my shoes in my hand, the water barely reaching my shins, and discovered that the famous pink sand isn’t quite what the photographs suggest. It’s not pink everywhere. Instead, there are these lovely little streaks of colour along the water’s edge, made from tiny fragments of shells. I watched a little boy trying to fill his water bottle with the pinkest sand he could find, until his grandmother spotted him. She folded her arms, he looked at her, and very reluctantly poured it all back. 😂 There’s a much sadder story connected to this beautiful place, too, one I’ll share in my diary. But today I kept thinking about that little boy, his grandmother, and how extraordinary it is to walk through the sea to reach a beach. 🤍 What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever had to walk to? #crete #elafonisi #pinksand #traveldiary #greecetravel
