Noiseless sounds more compressed. If it works like other noiseless pickups with a dummy coil thats probably why. Almost impossible to not have noiseless pickups sound like humbuckers imho.

the duncan are that much nicer they're worth the noise. the icepick attack of the noiseless is super harsh.

I feel like once you play fenders long enough you just associate the single coil w the 60 cycle hum. I just accepted it’s part of the sound.

I have stock pickups, but I copper shielded the crap out of the pickup cavity and pickguard. I Also used graphite shielding paint on the inside of the output jack tunnel and added an additional body ground inside the cavity. It's Much quieter.
