A photographer in Germany captured the Orion Nebula perfectly aligned between two church towers. The image was created using long exposure astrophotography and a star tracking system, allowing the nebula to be captured in incredible detail while keeping the towers in position.

The resemblance to the Eye of Sauron from The Lord of the Rings is what made the image explode online. The photographer, Jan Anders, actually captured a time-lapse showing the nebula moving between the towers, confirming the alignment was carefully photographed rather than simply being a random edited image.
