The truth hurts

🎬: Devil

Devil is envisioned as a dark, ultra-violent action drama that could bring together Mahesh Babu and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Vanga has previously revealed that he narrated a script titled Devil to Mahesh Babu, describing its protagonist as even more violent than the character in Animal. If the project moves forward, it could showcase Mahesh Babu in one of the most ruthless and unconventional roles of his career.

The story could revolve around a powerful, composed man driven by revenge, obsession, loyalty and an unrelenting thirst for control. Beneath his calm exterior lies a terrifying personality that emerges when his world is threatened. As his emotions collide with his violent instincts, his actions grow increasingly brutal, pushing him beyond the boundaries of conventional morality.

As the narrative unfolds, Devil could evolve into a gripping psychological descent, following a man who gradually blurs the line between justice and vengeance. Rather than a traditional hero, the film could explore a morally complex protagonist whose intelligence, dominance and merciless nature make him as frightening as the enemies standing against him.

Performances & Direction

Mahesh Babu could embrace a completely different screen persona, combining restrained intensity with explosive aggression, while Sandeep Reddy Vanga's signature storytelling could bring raw violence, emotionally charged confrontations and unsettling psychological depth to the narrative. If realised as described, Devil could push the boundaries of mainstream action cinema with a protagonist whose brutality makes him worthy of the name “DEVIL.”
