Come step into history with me while we light up our palates! I recently had a beautiful dinner with friends at @rouserslc that is inside one of the most beautiful, luxury boutique hotels @asheradamshotel in downtown SLC. After reconstruction of this iconic landmark, originally built in 1909 and once home to the Union Pacific Depot Train Station 🚂, they opened just two years ago. When you walk into the building, it feels very special and like a million memories have already been made here. I can picture the scene from all of those years ago of people hustling and bustling in this space while trying to catch their trains and arriving to their destination.

Rouser, their signature restaurant, is truly a dining experience with creative, scratch made dishes. Their Executive Chef Mauricio Lopez, and his culinary team have paired ingredients and textures that make all the senses sing and dance. Here is what we had and thoroughly enjoyed:

Starters:
Heirloom Tomatoes with burrata and charred onion vinaigrette and basil oil
Hamachi Crudo
Smoked Corn and Artichoke Dip

Entrees:
Fire Roasted Trout (full fish and delicious)
Tenderloin Filet
Blackened Salmon

Rouser
2 S 400 W
Salt Lake City
Open 7-11AM and 5-10PM
Valet parking available at Asher Adams Hotel

Everything was cooked to perfection and well balanced. I would also recommend their tasty Parker House Rolls with butter and honey to start. Come for the history and decor and leave with a dining memory that you will not soon forget!
